The person filling this position is responsible for managing the properties of the Housing
Authority including but not limited to enforcement of residents lease, building strong
relationships with resident leaders and various community services. Has to have a strong working relationship with the maintenance staff and admissions department and all departments as they relate to this position. Familiar with unit inspections, prepare monthly reports as it pertains to rent collections.
Attend resident meetings at night when required. Supervise Assistant Property Manager.
Communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Present a professional manner. Be knowledgeable in use of a computer and various systems. Bachelors Degree preferred in Business Administration, Public
Administration or related field. Minimum three years property management experience. Minimum
of one year supervisory experience. Capability to obtain a Public Housing Manager Certificate.
Possession of a valid Massachusetts drivers license and a willingness to use personal vehicle in course
of employment. Bilingual preferred
