The HHA is focused on protecting our residents, employees, and community members during this unprecedented event. This is a constantly evolving situation and we are updating our policies to respond to the changes. For the most up to date information bookmark this page. Here are some of the highlights of our response:

Please be aware:

  • All HHA appointments have been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
  • The HHA will be deferring rent collection and payment processing until further notice Please note that you are still responsible for paying your rent, which will be processed when HHA is allowed to reopen
  • Immediate vendor payments will be delayed.
  • New move-ins, lease-ups or non-emergency transfers will be postponed.
  • Non-emergent work orders will not be completed immediately.
  • HAP payments will be processed; however, payments will be based on the most current information.
  • If you are a new Voucher participant and you are on searching time you will be extended automatically for 30 days.
  • All Section 8 terminations will be delayed until further notice.
  • Maintenance staff will be operating on an on-call rotating basis, and only responding to emergency work orders. Call 413-539-2216 and your call will be triaged.
