    The Holyoke Housing Authority maintains waitlists for state and federal voucher programs and for state and federal public housing programs.

  • Voucher Programs

    The Holyoke Housing Authority administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Massachusetts Rental Voucher programs, which provide rental vouchers for approximately 1,500 units of housing in the private market.

  • Housing Choice Voucher Program & Section 8

    For federal voucher programs the Holyoke Housing Authority participates in the Massachusetts Centralized Waiting List.  For more information and to apply, please visit their site at MASSNAHRO Centralized Waiting List. If you prefer a paper application, they can be picked up at 475 Maple Street at the HHA’s offices.

  • MRVP-AHVP

    MRVP (Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program) and AHVP (Alternative Housing Voucher Program)

    The MRVP and AHVP programs are state based voucher programs. 

    MRVP and AHVP waiting lists are managed by EOHLC (Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities). You can apply and check your status at CHAMP(https://publichousingapplication.ocd.state.ma.us/)

  • Public Housing Programs

    The Holyoke Housing Authority owns and operates 826 conventional public housing units in 12 developments and scattered sites throughout the city, ranging from high-rise apartments to multi-family and single-family homes.

  • Massachusetts Public Housing

    The state-based waiting list is managed by EOHLC (Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities). You can apply and check your status at: CHAMP 

  • Congregate House

    The Raymond P. Murphy Congregate House is a shared senior living (60+) development.  It is a housing option which fosters independence, provides supportive services, allows privacy, and encourages companionship.

  • Churchill Homes – Site Based Application

    Churchill Homes consists of 100 federally assisted rental units. Applications may be obtained and returned at the HHA offices located at 475 Maple Street.

  • Federal Public Housing Programs

    Applications for Federal Public Housing may be obtained and returned at the HHA’s offices located at 475 Maple Street. Alternatively, you may download the public housing application, but you must return the original application to the office.
